Principal Designer, Tonie Pimienta founded Tonie and Associates Design Studio (TADS) in 2001 with the mission to provide her clients with a superior level of service and attention to detail that captures each client's unique lifestyle and personality. Unlike the majority of other interior designers, Tonie is fully certified on both the Federal and California state level. She has created custom spaces for hundreds of satisfied clients, predominately of return business and client referrals, which is a strong testament to both her creative talent and work ethic.
Raised in Mexico City by her father, a graphic designer and mother, a painter and educator, Tonie’s affinity for the arts began at a young age. AS an adult, she moved to Los Angeles and channeled this passion into a career in the interior design field.
Tonie earned her Interior Design degree from UCLA, while working with one of LA’s top designers. She is certified with ASID (American Society of Interior Designers), NCIDQ (National Council for Interior Design Qualification) and CCIDC (California Council for Interior Design Certification).
